Buying property in PV

if you are purchasing within 50 miles of the coastline, your property title is held ‘in trust’ for you by a bank.  Just as you would in the US or CAN, interview several real estate agents until you find one that suits you.  You’ll want to hire a real estate attorney to review the documents before you sign ANYTHING.  It’s best to rent in several different areas in PV before you jump right into buying.  Financing in Mexico is going to be expensive, it is best to pay cash (or take our a home equity against your current US or CAN home).
