Have you ever wondered what it was like to just sell all of your possessions and move to a foreign country and figure out how to make money? Speak the language? Embrace the culture?
We were too.
We sat down with Desaray Kjolseth of mydeztination.com Because…she’s been there, done that. After traveling solo across several countries & 2 continents she decided to take the risk to liquidate the her belongings, put sentiments in storage, and with all of her things in a carry-on bag, she purchased a plane ticket and settled in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where she started her online business, fell in love & found an inexpensive tropical destination she could call home.
She has a terrific blog of her 2 years since she’s been a resident of Puerto Vallarta. Since then she’s created several new branches of her company, from dating services to activities, & provided expat resources, world-wide volunteer opportunities & living abroad lifestyle tips through inspiring articles, videos & photography.
The photography is particularly stunning! Read all about PV activities, expat resources and volunteer projects over on her blog.
We love her positive vibe, inspiring spirit and really enjoyed sitting down for this interview.
Meet Desaray.
