Who doesn’t like to eat?
One of the best parts about vacation is eating out but there are reasons to want to cook while on your trip to PV. You may have been inspired by a cooking show or a food tour, you may have walked past the outdoor markets and caught the intoxicating smells of the fresh fruits and vegetables or you may have a food restriction or allergy and prefer to make your own meal.
If you’re going to cook fruits and vegetables, be sure to pick up a bottle of microdyne, sold in most stores that sell a food product. This solution will kill any parasites or bacteria on your food. Rinsing your food is not enough.
Consider a cooking in PV experience in a Mexican kitchen – make salsas, mole poblano, specialty drinks and more. You can go for a tour, lesson and tastings to learn how to cook authentic Mexican food with a local chef. If your accommodations allow, you can also bring a personal chef into the home to cook for you and others.
Food Tours are also popular here and often stop by the open market to describe a bit of the unfamiliar looking peppers, fruits and homemade treats. Try a traditional Taco Tour or something different like a haute style tour of PV’s finest restaurants.
