There is a world of art to discover at Lazaro Cardenas Park in the heart of PV.
El Parque de los Azulejos, the tile park, is coming to life – and you get to see it happen before your eyes.
This labor of love to build an outdoor art gallery was founded by Natasha Moraga. You will often see a team of people doing the install of a specific area – they will be taking a break through the rainy season due to the nature of the materials they use. What’s more is that you can contact them if you would like to sponsor a plaque featuring your name or in the memory of a loved one. You can also sponsor an entire bench – and there are many businesses that have done just that.
SPOILER ALERT: #WeLovePV has commissioned their very own bench! More details on that in November.
This park is home to the Saturday morning market from November to April. Check out the mini amphitheater to watch live music and have some of the delicious food served at the market. Many beautiful artisans represent their work and sell their goods, some even have demonstrations. Plan to spend a couple of hours here on a Saturday morning – it will be one of the most memorable things you did in Puerto Vallarta.
