This question seems to come up frequently and with rainy season it can sometimes put a damper on your plans, but don’t worry there are many things to enjoy in PV while it’s raining.

1. Treat Yourself

Go have a massage and mani/pedi, there are so many places here you can go without an appointment.

2. Visit the Historical Naval Museum

Calle Zaragoza 4, Centro

Located on the Malecon and an opportunity to learn about the naval history of Mexico Just 45 pesos entry for adults, kids are 30 pesos, 11 AM – 7:30 PM, closed Mondays.

3. Catch A Movie At The Theater

There are a couple great theaters here in PV that hav reclining chairs and full restaurant service. You can choose from English or Spanish subtitles.

4. See A Show At Act II Entertainment Stages

Act II has high quality theater productions, internationally-known cabaret acts, concerts, dance and children’s theater – there’s something for everyone!

5. Go Shopping

Gallerias Vallarta Shopping Mall, 11 AM – 9 PM daily, over 91 brand name stores and is located just across from where the cruise ships dock.

6. Grab A Taxi And Have Lunch With Friends

The restaurants that are open during rainy season don’t close just because of the rain, take a cab, Uber or bus and go to another neighborhood and have a leisurely lunch.

7. Bowling

Did you know that Plaza Caracol has a few bowling lanes?  Six to be exact.  Also, a few pool tables as well.

8. Head Over To A Page In The Sun

Head over to A Page in the Sun and have a cup of coffee and dessert while you peruse their great collection of books – curl up with your novel and lose yourself!

9. Teatro Vallarta

Teatro Vallarta is a modern 960 seat theater, traveling and local shows, catch a Flamenco show!

10. Embrace The Rain!

Put on light clothes and step out for a walk. You will find you are not alone!
